Accused Payal Bhati and her accomplice Ajay Thakur had allegedly killed Hema Chowdhary, a store worker in a shopping mall, slit her wrists and mutilated her face to avoid recognition.
Officials said that after the victim went missing last month, her relatives lodged a complaint with the Bisrakh police station.
