Gujarat: 30-year-old Pakistani national arrested for infiltrating border in Bhuj

New Delhi: A Pakistani national has been arrested by the Border Security Force (BSF) in Gujarat's Bhuj district. According to information, this person was found at the northern end of Harami Nala in Bhuj.

New Delhi: A Pakistani national has been arrested by the Border Security Force (BSF) in Gujarat’s Bhuj district. According to information, this person was found at the northern end of Harami Nala in Bhuj.

Pakistani national has been identified as 30-year-old Mehboob Ali, son of Mohammad Yusuf, resident of Sirani, Badin District, Sindh province of Pakistan. An owl was also recovered from his possession. He further revealed that he had entered Indian territory to catch birds and crabs.

“On September 23, a BSF patrol observed suspicious movement near the India-Pakistan border. A team immediately reached the spot and arrested a Pakistan national. He has been identified as Mehboob Ali, 30, son of Mohammad Yusuf, resident of Sirani, Badin District, Sindh,”  a BSF official said.

Explaining the action, BSF said that one of our patrols had spotted suspicious activity near the Indo-Pak border. After this the BSF party immediately reached the spot and nabbed a Pakistani national from the northern end of Harami Nala. An investigation into the matter is underway.
