Vadodara: A horrific road accident has been witnessed in Vadodara, Gujarat. Five members of a family, including two children, were killed after their car rammed into another vehicle on Friday night. The speed of the car was so fast that all five died as soon as the collision occurred.

Five members of a family, including two children, were killed in a car accident after their car collided with another vehicle in Vadodara district on the night of February 24, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Vadodara said.

It is said that as soon as the accident happened, there was a hue and cry. A crowd of people gathered there. The local people informed the police about the incident. It is said that after the accident, 3 people died on the spot, while 2 children died during treatment. The bodies were sent for postmortem to SSG Hospital in Vadodara.

Even before this such an incident was seen. Seven people were killed after a truck and a jeep collided in Gujarat’s Patan. In fact, in Patan’s Varahi late night, seven people were going somewhere in a jeep when a truck hit them from behind, killing all seven on the spot.

It is said that the Nayak family of Vadodara had gone to Sokhra to attend a wedding ceremony. After attending the wedding ceremony, the whole family was returning back in the same car when the car met with an accident. The deceased have been identified as Arvind Poonam Nayak, 28, Kajal Arvind Nayak, 25, Alpesh Nayak, 12, Ganesh Arvind Nayak, 5, and Drishti Arvind Nayak, 10. The dead bodies of all were handed over to the relatives for the last rites after the postmortem.
