Gujarat: The news of a horrific accident has come to light in Vadodara, Gujarat. Here, an autorickshaw and a trailer collided near Air Force Station Darjeepura. Seven people died in this accident while seven others were injured. On getting the information, the police reached the spot and started relief and rescue work. The injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment. District Collector AP Gor has given information about the accident.

According to the information received in the case, this horrific accident happened when the driver of a trailer (truck) going from Surat to Ahmedabad lost control of the steering while trying to save the car driver. In this round, he hit an auto rickshaw full of 14 passengers coming from the wrong side. The accident was so horrific that seven people died tragically on the spot. At the same time, the same number of people were injured.

After getting the information, Vadodara Police-IAF reached the spot, local people including fire brigade started rescue work. Due to the accident, there was also a long jam on National Highway No-48, which was opened by the police after a lot of struggle and traffic was restored.

At the same time, PM Modi has also expressed grief over this accident. He has also announced an assistance of Rs 2 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured. The PMO tweeted and said, ‘Saddened by the death in a road accident in Vadodara district. Condolences to the bereaved families and speedy recovery to the injured, Rs 2 lakh will be given to the kin of each of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured.
