Jayanarayan Vyas joined the party in the presence of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge. Rajasthan Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot was also present on this occasion. Before the Gujarat Assembly elections 2022, on November 5, former BJP minister Jaynarayan Vyas resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Jaynarayan Vyas, who was the health minister of Gujarat in the Modi government, was not given a ticket in the last election. He was hopeful that this time BJP would give him ticket. But, this time also BJP did not give him ticket. Due to this, he was running angry with the party. According to the information coming to the fore, on last Sunday, he also reached the public meeting in Vamaiya village of Siddhpur in support of Congress candidate Chandanji Thakor.
Former BJP leader Jainarayan Vyas was associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party for a long time. He also saw many ups and downs in the party. When Keshubhai and Narendra Modi were the Chief Ministers of Gujarat, Jainarayan Vyas was a minister in both the governments. Before 2017, he was the MLA of Siddhpur for 4 consecutive terms.
After the formation of Vijay Rupani’s government, he was sidelined by the party. Let us inform that in the first phase, voting will be held on 89 seats on December 1 and in the second phase on 93 seats on December 5. At the same time, the results of Gujarat elections will come on December 8 along with Himachal Pradesh.
