BJP has promised to provide 20 lakh jobs to the youth of Gujarat in 5 years. Congress has promised to provide 10 lakh jobs in its manifesto. Apart from this, the BJP has promised to invest Rs 10,000 crore under the Gujarat Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, Rs 25,000 crore to expand the irrigation network.
The BJP President said that if they form the government again, they will strengthen Gaushalas with an additional 500 crore rupees, 1000 additional mobile veterinary units will be established.
Patil said that more than one crore people of Gujarat were consulted for preparing the manifesto, for which a WhatsApp number was also issued. Apart from this, the youth were also contacted.
On this occasion, BJP’s national president JP Nadda said that Gujarat is a guiding force. Gujarat is the land of saints. Gujarat will develop with the new resolution. The BJP government does what it says. We go by the constitution.
BJP also made these promises to the public
-The BJP has also promised to set up 2C Food Parks (one each in South Gujarat and Saurashtra), build India’s first blue economy industrial corridor and strengthen fishing infrastructure.
-Under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (Ayushman Bharat), increase the annual limit from ₹ 5 lakh to ₹ 10 lakh per family, ensure free medical treatment.
-Chief Minister Free Diagnostics Scheme will be launched with a fund of Rs 110 crore to provide free diagnosis services for EWS families in all government health institutions and empaneled laboratories.
-Maharaja Shri Bhagwat Singhji Health Fund of Rs 10,000 crore will be created to set up 3 civil dispensaries, 2 AIIMS-grade institutions, improve infrastructure in existing health facilities.
-Will convert 20,000 government schools into schools of excellence with a budget of Rs 10,000 crore in the next 5 years.
-Kesavaram Kashiram Shastri Higher Education Transformation Fund will be started with a budget of ₹1,000 crore, so that new government colleges can be built and existing colleges and universities can be rejuvenated.
-4 Gujarat Institutes of Technology (GITs) will be set up on the lines of IITs as centers of excellence in the areas of green energy, semiconductors, fintech and aerospace.
-With the aim of hosting the Olympic Games in 2036, Gujarat will launch the Olympic Mission, create world-class sports infrastructure.
– Will ensure that every citizen in Gujarat has a pucca house, will ensure 100% implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
-Will start a family card scheme, so that every family will be able to get the benefit of all the welfare schemes run by the state government.
-Four times a year, 1 liter edible oil and 1 kg subsidized gram per month will be made available at subsidized rates.
-Will start mobile delivery of ration in all 56 tribal sub-plan talukas.
-For the socio-economic development of tribals, Rs 1 lakh crore will be spent under Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana 2.0.
Voting will be held in two phases for the Gujarat Assembly elections being held on 182 seats. In the first phase, voting will be held on 89 seats on December 1. In the second phase, voting will be held on 93 seats on December 5, while the results for the 15th Assembly will be released on December 8. There are 4.91 crore voters in Gujarat. Of these, 4.61 lakh are new voters. Out of these 9.87 lakh voters are above 80 years of age. The term of the assembly is ending on 18 February 2023.
