Gujarat elections: BJP announces 2nd list of 6 candidates for upcoming polls

Gujarat: BJP has announced candidates for 6 more seats for Gujarat elections. This is the party's second list. In the first list, candidates were announced for 160 seats out of the total 182 assembly seats in Gujarat. The names of the six seats where candidates were announced on Saturday are Dhoraji, Khambhalia, Bitchina, Bhavnagar East, Dediapada and Choryasi.

Gujarat: BJP has announced candidates for 6 more seats for Gujarat elections. This is the party’s second list. In the first list, candidates were announced for 160 seats out of the total 182 assembly seats in Gujarat. The names of the six seats where candidates were announced on Saturday are Dhoraji, Khambhalia, Bitchina, Bhavnagar East, Dediapada and Choryasi.

Mahendra Bhai Padalia from Dhoraji, Mulubhai Bera from Khambhalia, Dheliben Odedara from Bitchhana, Sejal Rajeev Kumar Pandya from Bhavnagar East, Hitesh Vasava from Dediapada and Sandeep Desai from Choryasi. In this way, the picture has become clear about the candidates in 166 out of the total 182 seats of the BJP in Gujarat.

Last night, BJP also released the list of its star campaigners for campaigning in the Gujarat assembly elections 2022. A total of 40 names are included in this list including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Transport and National Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari. Gujarat BJP President CR Patil, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Union Ministers Arjun Munda and Smriti Irani, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Assam Chief Minister Hemanta Biswa Sarma and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also joined BJP in Gujarat elections. Will be the star campaigner of the party and will hold public meetings, rallies for the party candidates.

Assembly elections in Gujarat will be held in two phases. In the seats where candidates have been announced in the second list, the votes will be cast in the first phase itself. Polling will be held in the state on December 1 and December 5. The result will be declared on December 8.
