Gujarat polls 2022: PM Narendra Modi to hold election rallies in Saurashtra today

Gujarat: Today, the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party will hold election rallies for the Gujarat assembly elections. Prime Minister Modi's rallies are also included in this. Before hosting a marathon of towns in districts including Veraval, Dhorarji, Amreli and Botad, PM Modi will visit the Somnath temple today morning to offer prayers, according to information.

Gujarat: Today, the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party will hold election rallies for the Gujarat assembly elections. Prime Minister Modi’s rallies are also included in this. Before hosting a marathon of towns in districts including Veraval, Dhorarji, Amreli and Botad, PM Modi will visit the Somnath temple today morning to offer prayers, according to information.

After visiting Somnath temple on Sunday, he is scheduled to address four rallies in Saurashtra region. The locations have been finalized in Veraval, Dhorarji, Amreli and Botad. As per reports, the Prime Minister will conduct four rallies in Saurashtra region on November 20, two in South Gujarat and Saurashtra on November 21 and two in Saurashtra on November 22.

More than 1.5 lakh people are expected to participate in these rallies, said sources. As per the schedule, PM Modi will be in Saurashtra’s Veraval at 11 am and Dhoraji at 12:45 pm. Will address meetings at 2:30 pm in Amreli and 6:15 pm in Botad. After this, he will return to Gandhinagar in the evening and rest at Raj Bhavan in the night. Preparations have been made by the BJP regarding these rallies.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also hold two public meetings today in Tapi and Narmada districts of the state. Amit Shah will hold public meetings on Sunday in Nijhar village of Tapi and Dediapada town of Narmada. It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to participate in at least eight programs across the state from Saurashtra to Surat. PM Modi will hold rallies in Gujarat’s Saurashtra for three consecutive days from 20 November to 22 November.

In Gujarat, the BJP party has been in power for the last 27 years and Narendra Modi has been the longest-serving chief minister of the state. This time under the leadership of Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and Bhupendra Patel, the party is aiming to get more than 140 seats.

The state has been a BJP bastion for long and the party is confident of coming back and forming the government for a seventh term. There are 182 assembly constituencies in the state of Gujarat, voting will be held in two phases on 1 and 5 December. The counting of votes will take place on December 8.
