Gujarat rains: Car stuck in waterlogged underpass as heavy rain batters state

Four people in the car were rescued with the help of the fire department and local people. The video of this incident also went viral on social media. In the viral video, car occupants can be seen struggling to escape from their car. Only the roof of the car can be seen in the video which is completely submerged in water.

Nadiad: Four people were rescued by Nadiad Fire Brigade officials after their car got stuck in water due to waterlogging in an underpass in Gujarat’s Nadiad. Let us tell you that due to heavy rains last week, a car got stuck in Navsari’s Mandir Gam underpass due to water-logging. Four people in the car were rescued with the help of the fire department and local people. The video of this incident also went viral on social media.

In the viral video, car occupants can be seen struggling to escape from their car. Only the roof of the car can be seen in the video, which is completely submerged in water.

Gujarat has been witnessing heavy rains and floods ever since the monsoon arrived in the state on June 27. The India Meteorological Department said on Thursday that more rain is likely in the state.

Heavy rain is expected in Gujarat’s Dang, Valsad, Surat, Tapi and Dadranagar Haveli. Similar weather has been predicted over Saurashtra and North Gujarat today. A report in ANI said that there will be light rain in Ahmedabad today as well.
