Gujarat: Shailesh Patel, BJP vice-president of Vapi shot dead by unidentified men

Gujarat News: Unidentified bike riders opened fire on the Vapi BJP Vice President of Gujarat, due to which he died. According to the information, the reason for the murder is being told as a personal enmity. At present, the police is looking for the accused.

Gujarat/Valsad: The incident of murder of a BJP leader has come to light in Vapi of Valsad district. Two bike riders opened fire on him, after which he was immediately taken to the hospital, but the doctors declared him dead on sight. At present, the police have registered a case and started investigating the matter.

According to the information received, Shailesh Patel, BJP vice-president of Vapi taluka, went to visit a temple located in Rata village with his family this morning. When the family was going to the temple, two bike-borne unidentified people started firing at Shailesh Patel, who was sitting in the car. Hearing the sound of firing, Shailesh’s family and people around ran to him. Some people even tried to nab the unknown bike riders, but by then they had fled.

Immediately Shailesh’s family and the gathered people informed the police about the incident. On the other hand, he was immediately taken to the hospital. However, before the doctors could treat him, he died. The convoy of BJP leaders from Vapi district has also reached Rata village. However, according to the preliminary investigation, Shailesh Patel seems to have been murdered due to old personal enmity.

At present, the police reached the spot and interrogated the people around and registered a case and started investigating the matter. Police of Vapi district and Rata taluka are on the lookout for the accused. According to the information received from the police, Rata police has received a CCTV footage, in which the accused are seen. The police is also scanning other CCTV footage of the taluka, which would facilitate identification and arrest of the accused.
