Two laborers were killed and two were injured after a sudden fire broke out at Van Petrochem Pharma Company in Sarigam, Valsad district of Gujarat. The fire department and rescue teams immediately took out the injured from the debris and took them to the hospital.
Gujarat Valsad Explosion: Van Petrochem Pharma Company located at Sarigam in Gujarat’s Valsad district exploded after a sudden fire on Monday night. After the explosion, a huge fire broke out in the company, in which two people were burnt alive. There is also news of two people getting scorched by the fire.
In this incident, 2 laborers died and 2 laborers were injured. The injured have been sent to the hospital for treatment. Due to the possibility of other people being trapped in the debris, the rescue operation was being carried out. It is being told that a sudden fire broke out at Van Petrochem Pharma Company in GIDC Sarigam Chemical Zone at Umargam in Valsad district on Monday midnight. Due to the sudden explosion in the company, the shed of the company collapsed.
As soon as the information about this incident was received, the employees of all the nearby companies immediately reached Petrochem Pharma Company for help. On getting information about the incident, fire brigade teams including Sarigam GIDC, Daman, Vapi GIDC reached the spot. On getting information about the incident, 108 teams reached the spot. SP and other officers of Valsad district also reached the spot. The SP of Valsad told that 2 died and 2 were injured in an explosion in a company at Sarigam GIDC at around 11 pm on Monday night. The reason for this blast is yet to be known.
