Gurugram: 2 labourers dead after 3-storey Gurugram building collapses during demolition

New Delhi: In Gurugram, many workers were buried after the wall of a building collapsed. Two labuorers have died in this incident, while some are still buried under the rubble. The incident happened today .

New Delhi: In Gurugram, many workers were buried after the wall of a building collapsed. Two labuorers have died in this incident, while some are still buried under the rubble. The incident happened today i.e. Monday morning. On information, the team of Gurugram Police has reached the spot immediately and is engaged in rescue work.

According to the information, two labuorers have been rescued. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. It is being told that this building was already dilapidated. Workers were demolishing the building. Then suddenly a wall of the building collapsed on the workers.

There was panic after the incident. Other workers present on the spot started shouting for the rescue. On information, the police also reached the spot. The debris is being removed with the help of JCB. Gurugram Fire Officer Lalit Kumar said that the building was being demolished.

Meanwhile, this accident has happened. 2-3 laborers are estimated to be trapped in the debris. The debris is being removed continuously towards the rescue team. The injured have been taken to the hospital

According to officials, whenever a building is demolished, special precautions have to be taken before that. Along with this, it is also to be kept in mind that there should be adequate security arrangements for the personnel working in this work. It is necessary for the workers to wear a helmet on the head before doing this work. They should wear a mask to avoid dust. The help of experts related to this work can suggest necessary measures.

At the same time, DCP West said that the building was in dilapidated condition. That’s why it was being dropped. However, the police officers are taking information about the incident by questioning the workers present there. Along with this, efforts are being made to talk to the owner of the building in this regard. The police have informed the families of the injured in this regard.
