Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) officials said that the patient was admitted to the municipal hospital on March 7. He told that the elderly person was also suffering from H3N2 along with other diseases.

The condition of all these patients is currently stable. Today i.e. on Thursday, March 16, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde will hold a meeting on H3N2. At the same time, State Health Minister Tanaji Sawant and many officials will also participate in this special meeting. Earlier Tanaji Sawant had said that guidelines for this virus would be issued in the next two days.

Significantly, since January till now, more than 3 thousand cases of infectious H3N2 virus have been reported in the country. At the same time, 9 people have lost their lives so far. So far, 352 cases have been reported in Maharashtra, which is most affected by this dangerous virus.
