Haryana: 27-year-old man strangles 8-year-old nieceto death, buries body 3 Km away from home

Haryana: An official said that a 27-year-old man was arrested in the Nuh district of Haryana for strangling his eight-year-old niece to death and burying her body in a field 3 km away from his village. After receiving information about this incident, police reached on the spot.

Haryana: An official said that a 27-year-old man was arrested in the Nuh district of Haryana for strangling his eight-year-old niece to death and burying her body in a field 3 km away from his village. After receiving information about this incident, police reached on the spot.

The police said that the body of 8-year-old niece was found on Friday evening and placed it in the mortuary. According to the police, the girl had gone missing under suspicious circumstances on Wednesday.

8-year-old girl father approached police and said his daughter was playing with other children at home and went missing around 12 pm when he and his wife were away in the fields. Police added that

Police said they lodged a complaint, based on which a missing FIR was lodged at the Firozpur Jhirka police station on Thursday. During the investigation, the police reached the truck driver Abbas, who was arrested. During interrogation, Abbas confessed to killing the girl and burying her body in Doha village.

Police said they have not yet revealed the motive behind the murder. Police said that on their request the girl’s body was taken out of the grave and sent to Mandikheda District Hospital for post-mortem.

SHO of Ferozepur Jhirka Police Station, Inspector Aman Kumar said,”The accused used to work as a truck driver. We are questioning him and a post mortem will be conducted tomorrow by the board of doctors.”
