Haryana: On Thursday morning, Six children were died after a private school bus carrying them lost control and overturned in Mahendragarh district of Haryana. After receiving information about this incident, local police reached on the spot.
According to initial reports, Several others suffered injuries during the accident that took place near Unhani village on Kanina Dadri road in Mahendragarh district of Haryana, when a private school bus went out of control and overturned.
The local authorities are actively probing the incident to determine the exact cause. The bus was carrying around 40 children and was on its way to the school, which was functioning despite a holiday declared for Eid-ul-Fitr.
The bus belonged to GL Public School, a private school. A large number of people gathered at the spot after the accident. The District Education Officer said that after initial investigation it appears that the driver of the bus was drunk and rammed the vehicle into a tree.
A senior official said that after the incident, rescue team and officer reached the spot and provided immediate medical care to the injured children and more serious children shifted to a special hospital in Rewari.
