Sirsa: A major accident took place on Monday in Haryana’s Sirsa district when a car collided with a tree. In this accident, 5 people including a newborn died and 2 others were injured. Police gave this information. He told that the incident took place on the Sirsa-Rania road. The police officer said, ‘Seven people were traveling in a car when their car collided with a tree near Mehnakheda village in Sirsa district. Five people, including a two-month-old baby, died in the accident. At the same time, 2 injured have been admitted to the hospital.

The victims were returning home to Mehna Khera after visiting Dera Baba Munganath located in Kharian village in Sirsa. “The bodies have been sent to Sirsa civil hospital for post-mortem while the injured are undergoing treatment at the same hospital,” Sub-Inspector Kishori Lal said.
A police team reached the spot after receiving information about the accident and has started an investigation.
According to the former sarpanch of Mehnakheda village, Subhash Mehta, “some people of the village were returning to their homes after participating in a religious program when the vehicle went out of control and hit a tree on the way.”
