Ambala: In yet another tragic incident that took place on Friday near Kakkad Majra village of Ambala district of Haryana. A truck and bus collided here. 8 people have died in the accident, while 15 people are said to be injured.
According to the agency, the incident took place near Kakkad Majra village on the Panchkula-Yamunanagar National Highway. It is being told that this accident happened when the bus was going from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh to Baddi in Himachal Pradesh.
The accident was so severe that 8 people died, along with 15 people were injured. After the accident, there was an outcry on the spot. The information about the accident was given to the police in a hurry.
After getting the information, the police reached and took the injured to the hospital. Along with this, information has been given to the relatives of the deceased. Police said that three passengers of the bus were getting down at Kakkar Majra, during which the truck rammed into it.
Police said that the injured have been admitted to civil hospitals in Ambala City and Narayangarh. Most of the passengers on the bus were migrant laborers engaged in construction work. With the help of passers-by, the dead and injured were pulled out of the bus. Police has arrested the truck driver.
Earlier, a speeding dumper hit a car on the Faridabad-Gurugram highway. 6 people died in this accident. Police said that the accident took place late Thursday night near the Mangar police post. Police said that the victims were residents of Palwal who were coming from Gurugram to Faridabad in a Maruti Alto car. He told that all the six people died on the spot.
Police said that all the deceased in the car were in the age group of 18-25. They have been identified as Putin, Jatin, Akash, Sandeep, Baljit and Vishal. The police have seized the dumper, but the driver escaped from the spot.
