Haryanvi singer’s body found in mutilated condition, was missing for 12 days, buried near highway

New Delhi: In yet another horrific incident, the dead body of Haryanvi Singer has been found near the highway in Rohtak district of Haryana. Haryanvi Singer Sangeeta, a resident of Delhi, was last seen by the family on May 11. Three days later, he filed a kidnapping case. The family has accused two youths working with her for kidnapping and killing Sangeeta.

According to him, the singer had gone to Bhiwani with a young man named Rohit in connection with the shooting of a music video. She was also seen on CCTV while having food with Rohit at a hotel near Meham. Meham Police SI Vikas told that we found a mutilated body near Barsati drain in Bhaini Bhairon village last evening, it could not be identified. Later we found that an FIR was registered in this case under section 365 IPC in Zafarpur PS, Delhi.

The singer was missing since May 11
SI Vikas said that the girl’s body was kept in the mortuary of PGI Rohtak for postmortem and identification. The body has been identified as Sangeeta (Haryanvi singer). Sangeeta was missing since May 11. Delhi Police has arrested an accused, who is on remand for 5 days. He told that after the postmortem, the matter will be transferred to Delhi Police. Prima facie the cause of death appears to be strangulation. Sangeeta’s family members have accused Ravi and Rohit, who worked with her, of murdering her and burying the dead body.


SI Vikas from Meham Police told sources that the mutilated body of Haryanvi singer Sangeeta was found near Bhaini Bhairon village.
