Delhi Crime News: There has been a stir after the headless dead body of a 3-year-old boy was found in Meerut, UP. According to the police, this is the body of a boy named Manav, missing from Delhi. In this case, the police has arrested an accused named Ranjit from Delhi. A child named Manav had gone missing from Delhi on 30 November.
New Delhi: The dead body of a 3-year-old child who went missing from Delhi’s Preet Vihar has been found in Meerut in pieces. Delhi Police said that the missing 3-year-old child has been murdered in Meerut. An accused has been arrested in this case, who went missing along with the child. Police say that the accused is 18 years old and had brutally murdered a 3-year-old child in a sugarcane field in Meerut and dismembered his body. At present, there is resentment among the family members after the child’s body was found in pieces and they protested.
According to the Delhi Police, on November 30, Preet Vihar police station was informed about the missing of two boys named Manav, 3, resident of Chitra Vihar slum and Ranjit, resident of Chitra Vihar, and an FIR was registered in this case. Delhi Police started the investigation and during the investigation, both were searched extensively in the surrounding areas, but no clue was found.
However, on December 6, it was reported that another boy named Ranjit had come to his uncle’s house in Delhi and was safe at his Jagatpuri residence. But no trace of the human has been found so far.
After this a team was sent to Ranjit’s uncle’s house and he was questioned about Manav, to which he could not give any satisfactory answer. After this, in continuous interrogation, he revealed that he had left Manav in the sugarcane field in Meerut. After this, a team was sent to Meerut on the trail of the accused boy, where it came to know that the local police of Incholi police station had already recovered the body without head and limbs. The head was also found nearby and it was informed by the local police that the body had been kept in the local mortuary.
According to the police, it was also learned that the belongings of the dead body were also seized by the local police and on the basis of the belongings and clothes, the dead body was identified as Manav, who had gone missing on 30 November. Police has arrested the accused and further investigation is on in the matter. From the documents recovered from his house, it has been revealed that his age is more than 18 years.
Further investigation is in process and legal action is being taken. In this case, the victim’s family raised slogans and protested on the road in Preet Vihar area. At present, the reason for the murder is not known.
