According to the Meteorological Department
– On Sunday, Santacruz observatory and Colaba observatory in Mumbai recorded 39.4 degree Celsius and 35.8 degree Celsius, respectively.
– This is the second time this month that Mumbai has recorded the highest maximum temperature in the country.
– On March 6, the temperature here was recorded at 39.1 degree Celsius, the highest in the country on that day.

Heat wave warning was issued
The Meteorological Department had issued a three-day heat wave warning. There was a heat wave in Mumbai from Friday to Sunday. According to the Meteorological Department, relief from the heat can be expected in Mumbai from Monday. A drop in temperature is expected. Rain is likely over interior parts of Konkan. Along with this, there can be a change in the direction of the wind.
