‘Heatwave’ wreaks havoc in Punjab for next two days, IMD issues warning

Chandigarh: Heatwave wreaks havoc in Punjab for next 2 days. Actually, due to the clearing of the weather and the increase in temperature, the condition of heat wave has become. In such a situation, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has expressed the possibility of heatwave running in South Punjab on Friday and Saturday. This means that people will have to bear the heat for the next few days. The scorching heat may continue till June 12-13.

Earlier on Thursday also, the heat of the summer remained strong, due to which the condition remained unsatisfactory. On Thursday, the highest maximum temperature in Punjab was recorded in Bathinda at 44.8 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, the air quality index in Punjab is in the ‘satisfactory to moderate’ category. Let us know how the weather is going to be on Friday in the major districts of Punjab.

Amritsar
In Amritsar, the maximum temperature is expected to be 42 and the minimum temperature is 25 degree Celsius on Friday. The sky will be clear. The air quality index was recorded at 69 in the ‘satisfactory’ category.

Jalandhar
The maximum temperature in Jalandhar is expected to be 41 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is 26 degree Celsius. The weather here is going to be similar to Amritsar. At the same time, the Air Quality Index is 120, which falls in the ‘moderate’ category.

Ludhiana
The maximum temperature in Ludhiana is expected to be 42 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is 25 degree Celsius. The weather will be dry. The air quality index is 71 in the ‘satisfactory’ category.

Patiala
The maximum temperature in Patiala is expected to be 42 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is 26 degree Celsius. The weather will be clear. The air quality index is 124 in the ‘moderate’ category. The weather remains similar in most of the districts of Pun
