Mumbai: One of Television industry’s rising stars, Sidharth Shukla, passed away too early at the age 40, on Thursday, due to a sudden heart attack. His sudden demise not only left people in shock and grief but also left many pondering over the uncertainty of life.
Sidharth became a household name when he first appeared on TV soap ‘Balika Vadhu’ but his popularity soared in when he entered ‘Bigg Boss’ 13 with Shehnaaz Gill. Their Jodi became so hit that #SidNaaz started to trend like crazy and fans couldn’t stop asking more of their friendship. But when everything was going so well for Sidharth, destiny had something else for this successful, good looking, head-over-heels in love young man. While, we are still trying to wrap our head around Sidharth’s sudden demise, here are some step-by-step events that took place the night before his death.
As per reports, Sidharth Shukla had returned home around 9.30 pm at night after a work-related meeting. Upon his return to home he complained of anxiety and uneasiness. At that time his rumoured girlfriend from Bigg Boss house, Shehnaaz Gill and his mom, Rita Shukla were both at home. They gave him nimbu paani and later some ice-cream to make him feel better. His mother also rubbed some balm on him, and gave him a painkiller. Shehnaaz Gill and his mother advised him to get some rest to feel better. As Sidharth wasn’t feeling well he reportedly slept on Shehnaaz Gill’s lap at around 1.30 am to get some comfort. But when the singer woke up around 7 am, she found that he was in the same position and was unresponsive. That’s when Shehnaaz learnt about the tragic fact and called his mother who lives on the 9th floor of the same building.
A similar story was also shared by Hinduantni Bhau aka Vikas Fhatak – who participated in Bigg Boss 13 as a wild card entrant and met Sidharth inside the house – to the media. A video of the same has also been shared by paparazzi, Viral Bhayani, on his Instagram handle. “Everything was fine. He had dinner and went to sleep. Late at 3:30, he asked for cold water. He said he was feeling uneasy. His mother got him water and he later had ice cream and went to sleep again. He had set an alarm for 10 o’clock. He goes to the gym at that time. But he did not wake up even when the alarm rang. So, his mother went to check on him and that’s when she learned about his demise,” Hindustani Bhau said in Hindi. Here’s the video:
