Hero Splendor+ XTEC 2022 launched in India, prices start at Rs. 72,900. Full deets here

New Delhi: Hero MotoCorp today, May 19, launched the Splendor+ XTEC at a starting price of Rs 72,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) onwards. The Splendor+ XTEC comes with new features like a full digital console with Bluetooth connectivity, integrated USB charger and Hero’s idle start-stop system (i3S).

Apart from the new XTEC variant, Hero Splendor Plus is available in three other variants in the Indian market. The base variant (drum brakes, self-start, and alloy wheels) is priced at Rs. 69,380. The ‘i3S’ variant costs Rs. 70,700, while the top-spec ‘Matt Shield Gold Edition’ has a price tag of Rs. 71,700.


The new Splendor+ XTEC comes with a 5-year warranty and is available in four new colour schemes, including Canvas Black, Sparkling Beta Blue, Pearl White and Tornado Grey.

This is the latest model complementing the XTEC technology umbrella that has been an overwhelming success since its launch on the Hero Glamour 125, Pleasure+ 110 and Destini 125.”

The Splendor+ XTEC gets a long list of new features, including call and SMS alerts, real time mileage indicator, low fuel indicator, LED high intensity position lamp, and exclusive graphics. The Splendor+ XTEC also comes with an integrated USB charger, side-stand engine cut-off, and Hero MotoCorp’s idle start-stop system (i3S).

The Hero Splendor+ Xtec is powered by an air-cooled 97.2cc BS-VI compliant, single-cylinder engine that produces 7.9bhp at 7,000rpm and 8.05Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. The engine features Hero’s I3S engine-start-stop technology and is paired to a 4-speed gearbox.

The new Hero Splendor+ Xtec features telescopic front forks and a mono shock at the rear to take care of the rough stuff. Braking duties on the Splendor+ Xtec are taken care of by drum brakes on both wheels.
