Himachal Pradesh Election 2022: Aam Aadmi Party released first list of candidates for HP assembly elections

Aam Aadmi Party has released the first list for the upcoming assembly elections of Himachal Pradesh. The names of 4 candidates have been announced in the first list released by the party.

Himachal Pradesh: Aam Aadmi Party has released the first list for the upcoming assembly elections of Himachal Pradesh. The names of 4 candidates have been announced in the first list released by the party. In this, Dr Rajan Sushant has been fielded from Fatehpur assembly seat, Umakant Dogra from Nagrota, Sudarshan Jaspra from Lahaul Spiti and Manish Thakur from Sri Paonta Sahib. Preparations for the Aam Aadmi Party are going on for the upcoming assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh.

Aam Aadmi Party has announced to contest elections in all 68 assembly areas of the state. The AAP has become the first party to announce its list in the hill state even as the election date is yet to be declared. The state is expected to go to the polls in November.

1. According to the Aam Aadmi Party, Rajan Sushant, a former minister and former MP, has been made the candidate from Fatehpur assembly constituency of Kangra district. Rajan Sushant was expelled from the party by the BJP for raising his voice against corruption. Rajan joined the Sushant JP movement and spent 8 months in jail during the Emergency. Influenced by the thoughts of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajan Sushant came into politics and became an MLA for the first time in 1982 from the Jwali assembly constituency.

Rajan Sushant, a four-time MLA, raised his voice against his own BJP government on the issue of corruption and resigned from the post of minister in the year 2000. After this Rajan Sushant became MLA for the fourth time in the 2007 assembly elections. After this, in 2009, Kangra contested the Lok Sabha elections on a BJP ticket from Chamba parliamentary constituency and became an MP by winning.

2. Aam Aadmi Party’s Vice President Manish Thakur has been made the candidate from Paonta Sahib. Manish Thakur has also been the State President of All India Youth Congress and also held the post of National General Secretary of Youth Congress. Manish Thakur traveled from Himachal Pradesh President of All India Youth Congress to the post of National General Secretary.

3. Aam Aadmi Party has declared Sudarshan Jaspa as its candidate from Lahaul-Spiti assembly constituency. Sudarshan has also been a member of the Zilla Parishad from 2015 to 2020. In the 2017 assembly elections, he managed to give a tough challenge to the Congress and the BJP by landing as an independent candidate. Sudarshan Jaspa joined the Aam Aadmi Party in 2022 after the Aam Aadmi Party’s landslide victory in the Punjab elections. Sudarshan is serving as the district in-charge of Aam Aadmi Party and is also the President of Lahaul Potato Grover Cooperative Marketing cum Processing Society. Due to which Sudarshan Jaspa has a good hold among the farmers of Lahaul inflation.

4. Aam Aadmi Party has declared Umakant Dogra as its candidate from Nagrota assembly constituency of Kangra district. Umakant Dogra is the state vice-president of the Aam Aadmi Party OBC cell. Umakant Dogra has been the head of Gram Panchayat Sarotri and is the President of Old Students Association College, Baba Baroh.

The party has done this promise to Himachal

Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, said that the youth of Himachal will give 6 lakh government jobs. Unless the youth will not get employment, then give 3 thousand rupees allowance. Paper will bring strict law against those who leak. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also claimed that Himachal merchants will give a good environment to work. The public will not need to go anywhere to get government work.

This work will work for the villages, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, said that we will give 10 lakh grants of 10 lakh rupees per year and ten thousand rupees per month for the development work of Gram Panchayat. Also, Himachal Pradesh will pilgrimage to free. Along with this, the party has promised 300 units free electricity in Himachal.
