Washington: ‘RRR’ is really unbeatable! After winning Critics’ Choice and Golden Globes, ‘RRR’ has now beaten Tom Cruise’s ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ at the Hollywood Critics Association Film Awards.
Not only this, ‘RRR’ won two other awards in the ‘Best Original Song’ and ‘Best Stunt’ categories. The film’s director SS Rajamouli enthusiastically accepted the award on behalf of the team and gave an impressive speech.

He said, “I think I need to go backstage and check … I think I’ll start growing wings first … with someone else! Thank you so much it means so much! Can’t express how much it means…’
He added, “It’s the ‘Best Action Film’ (award), we won the ‘Best Stunt’ (award), but maybe the ‘Best Stunt’ (award) was for the Best Stunt Choreographer..It’s nice to have the stunt choreographers here to see mein hota because I think that’s the team that works so hard and puts their lives on the line to entertain us. I would like to take this opportunity to ask for a special category for stunt performers … Stunt Choreographers, they really deserve it! This is for all the stunt choreographers not only in my country but all over the world, which is really us. Working hard to entertain everyone.
He ended by thanking the association – “Thank you again to HCA! It really means a lot to me…Thank you. Now, I’m flying!”
‘RRR’ superstar Ram Charan was also present at the award function and also presented an award. With the win, the hopes of the fans rest on the Oscars. Team ‘RRR’ is currently in Los Angeles and will attend the Oscars on March 12. RRR’s song ‘Natu Natu’ has been nominated for an Oscar in the ‘Original Song’ category.
