Amit Shah Uttarakhand Visit: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be on Uttarakhand tour today. He will attend three programs to be held at Gurukul, Rishikul and Patanjali today. Police and administration have completed preparations for the tour. Every step will be guarded by the police and intelligence agencies.
Additional Director General of Police Crime and Law and Order B.R. Murugesan said that any laxity in security duty would not be tolerated.
On Wednesday, ADG Law and Order B. Murugesan briefed the police and administrative officials. Apart from 1500 policemen, three battalions of PAC, three BDS teams will be ready under the security of the Home Minister.
Take VVIP duty seriously: SSP
During the briefing, Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh said that all policemen should take VVIP duty very seriously. In view of security, two SP, four ASP, 15 CO, eight inspector, 66 SI, seven ASI, 99 head constable, 300 constable, 70 female constable, one TI, seven TSI, 34 traffic head constable, three team PAC and three team BDS deployment will continue.
Union Minister Shah’s official program has now become available to the state. According to this, he will reach Gurukul Kangri University directly from Delhi this morning by helicopter. At quarter to three in the afternoon, he will participate in a function organized by the Cooperative Department at Rishikul Ayurvedic College ground. In this, along with making MPAX online, he will also inaugurate Jan Suvidha and Jan Aushadhi Kendras established in 95 MPAX of the state. After this, apart from honoring the farmers who have done remarkable work in the field of agriculture and horticulture, Deendayal Upadhyay Kisan Kalyan Will provide loan checks to the beneficiaries under the scheme.
Union Minister Shah will reach Jollygrant Airport after attending the program organized at Patanjali Yogpeeth in the evening. Will leave for Delhi after meeting with the officials there.
