Indore: A major accident happened on Khandwa road on Thursday. A passenger bus fell into a gorge 50 feet deep. About 5 people died in the accident. Around 47 people have been injured. After the incident, CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has expressed grief by tweeting. An assistance of Rs 4 lakh will be given to the dead and Rs 50,000 to the injured.

Over 50 passengers were onboard the bus, out of which 40 passengers were rescued and taken to hospital while efforts are underway to evacuate the other passengers.

The incident is of Simrol police station area. The passenger bus going from Indore to Khandwa overturned uncontrollably at Bhairav ​​Ghat. About 50 passengers were on the bus. After overturning, the bus was completely damaged and the wheels came up. 5 people are reported to have died in the incident. About 17 people have been injured. 108 ambulance and police reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. The injured were sent to the hospital for treatment. It was difficult to rescue the trapped passengers in the bus. There was screaming at the spot. After the incident, Collector Manish Singh left for the spot.

CM expressed grief, gave instructions for proper treatment
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed deep grief over the bus accident. He has given instructions to the district administration for the best treatment of the passengers who were injured in the accident. On getting information about the incident, Collector Manish Singh, who reached the spot, took complete information on mobile and instructed to identify the culprits in this accident and ensure action against them.

The Chief Minister directed that the families of the passengers who died in this accident should be given relief as per the rules of the government. He directed Collector Manish Singh to get the best treatment for the injured passengers under his own supervision. Collector Singh apprised the Chief Minister that financial assistance of Rs.4 lakh is being given to the dead and Rs.50,000 to the injured in this bus accident. Free and proper treatment is being ensured to all the injured.

According to the collector, there is preliminary information about the death of four to five passengers in the bus accident, while 10 seriously injured have been rushed to MY Hospital through ambulance.

There was a jam at the ghat after the incident. A large number of people reached the spot. Some people got down and helped in evacuating the injured. There was a jam for a long time due to which the traffic was disrupted.

Many people got buried under the bus in the accident. The bus had completely vomited after the accident. All four wheels came up. Those who fell out of the shock, they climbed up. Some of the injured are in critical condition.
