At least 10 people were killed and over 20 injured when a container truck rammed two vehicles and then rammed into a hotel on a highway in Maharashtra's Dhule district on Tuesday.

Ten died and many were injured in this accident. The incident took place near Palasner village, 300 km from Mumbai, on the Mumbai-Agra highway in Dhule district. It is being told that a speeding truck had entered the hotel. That’s why many people got caught in it.
Accident due to brake failure
The police officer said that the truck was going from Madhya Pradesh towards Dhule. The accident took place around 10.45 am near Palasner village on the Mumbai-Agra highway in Dhule, over 300 km from the capital, they said. Also, it was told that this horrific accident took place due to brake failure of the truck. It hit two motorcycles, a car and another container from behind. Some of the victims were waiting for a bus at the bus stand. After the accident there was hue and cry of the people. After getting the information of the incident, the police reached the spot. The injured have been admitted to hospitals in Shirpur and Dhule.
10 people died so far
Hitting all the vehicles, the truck rammed into the hotel near a bus stop on the highway and overturned there, the police officer said. “Around 10 people were killed and more than 20 were injured. Many people waiting at the bus stop also became victims of the accident,” the official said.
The official said that the truck was going from Madhya Pradesh towards Dhule. Police said the injured were taken to hospitals in Shirpur and Dhule, where they are undergoing treatment.
