Lucknow: Heavy rain continues in many areas of Uttar Pradesh. Due to heavy rains in the capital Lucknow, a horrific accident happened on Friday. Here 9 people died due to wall collapse near Dilkusha Garden in Cantt police station area. One person got injured. On the other hand, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, taking cognizance of this incident, has instructed senior officers to reach the spot immediately.
This accident happened in Dilkusha under Lucknow Cantt. Here 9 people died due to wall collapse, including 3 men, 3 women and 3 children. One person is injured. It is being told that these people were sleeping near the wall. Suddenly he got hit by the fall of the wall. Police-administration is engaged in rescue work on the spot.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the mishap and asked the senior officials to reach the spot. The Chief Minister has also announced financial aid of Rs 4 lakh to the families of the deceased and also gave instructions for proper treatment of the injured people.

According to the Meteorological Department, 35 districts in Banda, Chitrakut, Kaashambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Kabir Nagar, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Kanauj, Kanpur city, Kanpur country, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar Mainpuri, Etawah, Jhansi, Auraiya, Jalon, Hamirpur, Mahoba and Lalitpur are expected to rain.
