New Delhi: To control the rising inflation government has taken big move, the new rates of LPG cylinder (LPG Gas Cylinder Price Today) have been released and there has been a huge cut in the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder. This cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 135 from today. Government petroleum company Indian Oil has cut the rate of commercial cylinder by Rs 135, after which Indane cylinder will be cheaper by Rs 135 and will be available in Delhi at the rate of Rs 2219 per cylinder.

Domestic consumers i.e. customers using 14.2 KG cylinder have not got any relief on this cylinder today. There has been no change in its rate and it remains at the same rate as on May 19.

The prices of commercial LPG cylinders increased several times in April and May. In March, the 19 kg cylinder which was priced at Rs 2012 in Delhi came to Rs 2253 on 1 April. Exactly a month ago, on May 1, its prices increased by Rs 102. After this, the 19 kg commercial cylinder came at Rs 2354.

In May, the price of domestic LPG cylinder increased twice, under which domestic LPG became costlier by Rs 50 on 7 May, while on 19 May also it was increased by Rs 3.50. After which domestic LPG crossed Rs 1000. On May 7, the commercial gas cylinder was reduced by Rs 10, while on May 19, its rate was increased by Rs 8.

It was being widely speculated that Oil marketing companies might announce a price revision in LPG prices today (June 1). International oil prices have been on the rise this year, the impact of which has lately been seen in both petrol, diesel, ATF and LPG prices. Considering the hike in international oil prices, was being reported that that LPG prices may also be hiked from today, though nothing official was confirmed.
