Police have registered a case against the owner of the dog on charges of causing death by negligence and endangering the life or personal safety of another.
Hyderabad: A Swiggy delivery agent died after falling from the third floor of a building in Hyderabad. Mohammad Rizwan, 23, had come here to deliver food and at the same time a pet dog chased him. Due to which he has fallen down from the third floor of the building. According to information, Mohammad Rizwan had come to deliver food at Lumbini Rock Castle Apartment in Banjara Hills on January 11. Here the customer’s pet German Shepherd started running after him. Because of which he fell down and died on Sunday.
According to the police, when Rizwan reached the customer’s door, the dog pounced on him. While running away from the animal, Rizwan tried to jump over a railing. But slipped and fell. Due to which there were serious head injuries. The owner of the dog had admitted him to the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences.

The victim’s brother said, “My brother was working at Swiggy. He died after being treated for a few days. He went to Banjara hills to deliver a parcel but fell down trying to escape from the dog. I appeal to the Telangana government that we want justice. The Banjara hills police should take necessary action.”
