New Delhi: A news related to the Thyagaraj Stadium of Delhi Government was very much discussed today. In fact, there was a constant complaint from the players who came to practice in this stadium that they are asked to finish the training by around 6:30 in the evening. This is not because the stadium time ends by this time, but it is said so that the Principal Secretary (Revenue) of Delhi Government Sanjeev Khirwar can walk his dog in the stadium.

It is being told that at 6.30 pm, it has often been seen that the guards of the stadium vacate the ground while whistling. After which IAS officer Sanjeev Khirwar is seen walking his dog in the stadium. Actually Thyagaraj Stadium was built for the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

Along with national and state level athletes practicing in this stadium, football players have also been practicing here. In such a situation, the news came out that these players are facing a lot of trouble due to this, so the Delhi government also immediately appeared in action.

Taking cognizance of this matter, the Delhi government issued an order saying that from now on all stadiums in Delhi will open till 10 pm. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia gave this information through a tweet. He wrote that players have to face a lot of trouble due to the stadium being closed early, after which Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has ordered to open all the stadiums by 10 pm so that no player faces any problem.

However, when Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was asked a question regarding this matter, he said that nowadays the heat has become too much, due to which the players are facing problems. The stadium closes at 6-7 pm. We have issued an order that all sports facilities should remain open till 10 pm, so that sportsmen can use them even till evening. But when the question was asked by the Principal Secretary of Delhi on the dog walking in the stadium, he did not give any answer to it.

At the same time, when the new Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Vinay Kumar Saxena was asked about this matter after his oath ceremony, he also appeared to avoid it. When Delhi BJP MP Parvesh Verma was also asked a question on this, he said that after this incident came to light, he tried to give information by calling Principal Secretary Sanjeev Khirwar but he could not talk to Sanjeev Khirwar.

Pravesh Verma said that first he is trying to understand this whole matter completely, although he also said that if such things are happening then the government should take cognizance of it. At the same time, when we tried to get feedback from IAS officer Sanjeev Khirwar on this, he could not be contacted, it is being told that he is not present in Delhi at this time.
