ICC T20 WOMEN WORLD CUP 2023, Team India reached the semi-finals of the World Cup

New Delhi:Team India Beat Ireland by 5 runs with DLS method in T20 Women world cup. Mandhana played career best innings.Smriti Mandhana scored career-best 87 as India qualified for the semi-finals of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup on Monday after registering a five-run victory, via DLS method, over Ireland.

India had set a target of 156 runs in front of Ireland. Batting first after winning the toss, Team India scored 155 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. Smriti Mandhana misses out on a century. She got out after scoring 87 runs in 56 balls with the help of nine fours and three sixes.
Harmanpreet Kaur, India captain: It was a good game for us. Smriti got runs which was very important. Whenever she’s giving us that start, we are always get good totals. I just wanted to go there and spend some time in the middle. It (reaching the semis) means a lot, we are working so hard for so many years and we always want to do well. Hope we’ll give our 100%. We always enjoy our match against them (Australia). It will be a do or die for both the teams. We just want to go and play free cricket.
