The final of the second edition of the ICC World Test Championship will be played from June 7 to 11 with a reserve day (June 12) at The Oval, London. Last year, New Zealand won the maiden title by defeating India by eight wickets in the 2021 final in Southampton.
Currently, Australia are number one in the points table with 75.56 points percentage and they have the highest chances of qualifying. After this comes the number of India who have 58.93 points. Both the teams will face each other in the four-match Test series starting from February 9 in Nagpur. The two teams playing the final can be decided from this series.
Sri Lanka and South Africa are also in the race
Sri Lanka is the third name in the list. Whose winning percentage is 53.33. At the same time, South Africa are at number four with 48.72 win percentage. Both these teams still have a big chance to reach the finals. Sri Lanka has to play two Tests against New Zealand. While South Africa is going to face West Indies in a two-match home Test series.
