Research Assistant
A Research Assistant position is available for a tenure of 3.75 months. The responsibilities include compiling the project report in collaboration with project directors, data cleaning, analysis, and regular presentation. The role also involves analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data, preparing research reports, and other project-related tasks.
Eligibility
Postgraduate/MPhil/PhD or equivalent degree in a social science discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks.
Proficiency in MS-Office (Word, Excel) is required.
Excellent command of English and Hindi, both spoken and written.
Experience in qualitative data collection, transcription, and data analysis using software tools is necessary.
Field Investigator
Four positions are open for Field Investigators with a tenure of approximately three months. The primary responsibilities include data collection from the hilly regions of Uttarakhand where millets are cultivated and assisting in other project-related tasks.
Eligibility
Postgraduate or equivalent degree in a Social Science discipline from a recognized university/institute with a minimum of 55% marks.
Proficiency in MS-Office (Word, Excel) is required.
Proficiency in English, Hindi, and local Uttarakhand languages is necessary.
Preference will be given to candidates from the hilly regions of Uttarakhand who are familiar with the localities.
Remuneration
The positions are contractual, with a consolidated remuneration of ₹32,000 per month for Research Assistants and ₹30,000 per month for Field Investigators, based on qualifications and experience.
