Candidates who are interested in applying for these programmes can do so via iitk.ac.in, the official IIT Kanpur website. December 4, 2022, is the last day to submit an application for January 2023 batch.
The purpose of the launch of this new eMasters degree is to improve domain knowledge. The course offers a thorough conceptual understanding of data mining and analytical techniques for both descriptive and predictive analysis. Professionals can apply to the programme without having received a GATE score and it helps them gain experience in the cutting-edge data science techniques necessary for business analytics. Additionally, it will prepare students to use data science tools for strategic business decision-making.
Professionals can finish the programme in one to three years. This 60-credit, 12-module curriculum is taught by experts from the departments of computer science and engineering, industrial and management engineering, mathematics, and economics at IIT Kanpur.
These classes of programmes exclusively provide live interactive sessions on the weekends along with self-paced learning. Students who are working while pursuing their master’s degrees will have access to the alumni network, development centre, and placement cell at IIT Kanpur.
