IMD forecast issues heavy rainfall in these states till 7 September. Weather Department also issues yellow alert for many districts of Himachal Pradesh for next two days.
New Delhi: Monsoon has not stopped in different parts of the country yet.Heavy rain is still expected in many states.The Indian Metrological Department has predicted heavy rain and lightning in many states of the country including the Northeast.The IMD has issued a warning of heavy rain and thundershowers in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during the next 4 days.
Heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh in next 2 days
Let us inform that according to IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh today. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued in many districts including Kangra, Mandi regarding heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh in the next two days. IMD Deputy Director informed that during the last 24 hours, most parts of the state have received heavy rains. The IMD has issued a heavy rain warning for the districts of Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Shimla, Kangra, Mandi, and Kullu and the weather office has issued an alert in the state for heavy rain and flash floods in most parts of the state.
Rain alert in many states
There is a possibility of rain in Chhattisgarh on 6th September. Apart from this, rain warnings have been issued for today, tomorrow and September 6 in the upper areas of Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Sikkim. There is also a rain alert in Odisha on September 5 and 6.
Heavy rain in next 4 days in these states
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, during the next 4 days, there may be rain in the plains of Northwest India and parts of Central India. According to IMD, heavy rain and thundershowers are expected at isolated places in Bihar, West Bengal and Sikkim today and tomorrow. On the other hand, it may rain in Jharkhand today. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Odisha on 5th and 6th September, Chhattisgarh from 4th to 7th September and Andaman and Nicobar Islands till 6th.
Chances of rain in South India too
At the same time, there is an alert of heavy rain at isolated places in interior parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Karnataka during the next 4 days in parts of South India. On the other hand, rain is expected in areas of North Karnataka today and on September 6-7, while on September 5-6 in Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Heavy rain and thundershower likely to occur at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir today. Also, there is a warning of heavy rain in Uttarakhand today and tomorrow.
