IMD forecast alert rain and hail likely to devastate these 2 states today, relief for Punjab-Haryana and UP

New Delhi: Rainfall events are expected to decrease with thunderstorms and hail in North West India from Sunday. While during the next 2 days there is a possibility of hailstorm with rain in NE states, Eastern India and surrounding Central and South India.

New Delhi: Rainfall events are expected to decrease with thunderstorms and hail in North West India from Sunday. While during the next 2 days there is a possibility of hailstorm with rain in NE states, Eastern India and surrounding Central and South India.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur in Central India’s Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and East Madhya Pradesh on March 26. Rainfall is likely at many places in Chhattisgarh on March 26.

According to the IMD, light to moderate rain at many places with thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds is expected in South India during March 26-27 over Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Telangana, South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and Kerala and Mahe. There is a possibility.

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains especially in Kerala and Mahe on March 26. The IMD has predicted continuation of light to moderate rains with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds at many places over Northeast India during March 26 to 28. Heavy rain is expected at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya on March 26 and 27.

According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorm, lightning and strong winds in Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha of East India during March 26-27. While sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim are expected to receive rain on 26th and Jharkhand on 26th and 27th March. Today there is a possibility of hailstorm at many places in Odisha.

According to the Meteorological Department, after two days, the maximum temperature in central India is expected to increase by 2 to 4 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature is likely to increase gradually over Gujarat during the next five days. Meanwhile, an increase of 2 to 4 degree Celsius is expected in the maximum temperature in interior Maharashtra as well. There is no forecast of heat wave in any part of the country during the next five days.
