IMD forecast issues rain alert in these 15 states of the country, snowfall on mountains will increase cold

New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department forecast predicted during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls is very likely over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. The Meteorological Department has estimated heavy rains with thunderstorm in Puducherry and Karakal till November 13.

New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department forecast predicted during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls is very likely over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Light to moderate rain may occur at one or two places over Rayalaseema and Kerala. Moderate rain with one or two places may occur over South Interior Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Light rain is possible at one or two places over Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Lakshadweep. With the onset of dry and cool northwesterly winds, the minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to drop over northwest and central India on November 11 and 12. All the colors of the season are being seen together in India. While snowfall is happening in the hilly states, on the other hand it is raining in the southern states. Due to snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, north and central India have started feeling pink cold.

The sunshine of the day is starting to soften, while the mercury of the night is falling. Air pollution continues to be a problem for people in Punjab, Haryana, western Uttar Pradesh and Delhi-NCR.

The Western Disturbance is being seen as a trough over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir in westerly winds. Talking about the active weather system in the country, according to the private weather agency Skymet, a low pressure area is formed over the southwest Bay of Bengal near the Sri Lanka coast.

The associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level. It is very likely to intensify further and move in northwest direction towards Tamil Nadu coast. A trough is extending from central Bay of Bengal to a cyclonic circulation associated with a low pressure area over southwest Bay of Bengal at 4.5 km above mean sea level.

The Meteorological Department has estimated heavy rains with thunderstorm in Puducherry and Karakal till November 13. Simultaneously, Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, has expressed the possibility of rain in other states of Northeast India. Even today, AKI is estimated to be in a serious category.

There are slight rainfall in parts of Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi and Western Uttar Pradesh. In some areas of Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, there is a forecast to continue the snowfall along with light rain.In fact, due to the Western Disturbance over the Himalayas, there has been continuous snowfall and rain in the upper areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand for the last one week. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of mercury falling continuously in the hilly areas will be seen in North and Central India in the next few days.

In the next two to three days, cold is expected to increase in other states of the country including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal.
