IMD forecast issues to continue heavy rainfall in these states for next 2-3 days, moderate rain alert in Delhi-NCR for next 2 days

New Delhi: After taking a break of about a week, now the monsoon is going to make a comeback. Many parts of North India, including UP-Uttarakhand, will receive heavy rains from October 5 for the next 2-3 days. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of heavy rain in many places.

New Delhi: Monsoon is raining in the country this time. After taking a break of about a week, now the monsoon is going to make a comeback. Many parts of North India, including UP-Uttarakhand, will receive heavy rains from October 5 for the next 2-3 days. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of heavy rain in many places.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there may be an incident of lightning with heavy rain in Uttarakhand on October 5. In view of this, a yellow alert has been issued for today. At the same time, on 6 October, an orange alert has been issued in view of the possibility of heavy rains. People have been appealed to stay away from the rivers and streams of the state during the rainy season.

The department has issued a red alert on October 7-8 in the Kumaon and Garhwal divisions of Uttarakhand, expressing the possibility of heavy to very heavy rain. After the alert of the Meteorological Department, Uttarakhand Police has issued an advisory appealing to be careful while traveling to the state on these dates. People have been asked to travel to the mountains on these dates if absolutely necessary and to stay away from the landslide-prone areas during the rainy season.

According to the latest weather update of the Meteorological Department, there will be a period of heavy rain in eastern Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand till October 5-8. Whereas in western Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh, there will be heavy rain on October 6-7. Along with rain, there may be hail in some places. Along with this, strong winds will also blow, due to which the temperature will drop.

Talking about Delhi-NCR, both humidity and heat remain in the weather. It may rain in some areas today. The weather will be pleasant due to rain. There is no chance of heavy rain. On October 6-7, there may be moderate rain. At the same time, on October 8, there will be a period of rain. During this, the maximum temperature of the day will come down to 29-30 degrees, due to which people will get relief from the heat.
