IMD forecast predicts heavy rains occur in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya from March 19 to 22

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for most of the states of the country. At the same time, Orange Alert has been issued for the states of North East. Heavy rain is expected at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya during March 19 to 22 and over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during March 20-22.

New Delhi: Many parts of India are likely to receive heavy rains today. Deep Western Disturbance is being seen in many areas in March. According to IMD, heavy to very heavy rains are likely at some places in Meghalaya on March 19. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain may occur at many places in Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam today.

IMD said that today there will be rain with lightning, hailstorm, strong wind (30-40 kmph) and thunder in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. There is a possibility of lightning and rain with hail in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha with strong wind (40-50 kmph).India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for most of the states of the country. While an orange alert has been issued for the northeastern parts of the country.

Whereas in Punjab,East Madhya Pradesh, Chandigarh, Haryana, Delhi, Jharkhand, there may be rain with lightning and strong wind (30-40 kmph). The Meteorological Department said that today i.e. on March 19, there may be heavy rains in Central, West India and South Peninsula. According to IMD, till March 20, there may be rains with thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds in many states.

In view of the stormy weather, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for most of the states of the country. At the same time, Orange Alert has been issued for the states of North East. Heavy rain is expected at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya during March 19 to 22 and over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during March 20-22.

On the other hand, after heavy rains in Haryana’s Gurugram, waterlogging was seen on the roads. Due to which traffic jam also happened. Due to sudden change in Gujarat weather, crops have been damaged due to rain and hail. Destruction of crops can be seen in pictures from Aravalli district.
