The temperature of the weather is increasing rapidly in North India. According to private weather agency Skymet, during the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature was 5 degrees or more than normal at most places in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat region. According to the Weather Update, light rain may occur in Meghalaya, Assam, Nagaland and Sikkim in the next 3-4 days.

New Delhi: The temperature of the weather is increasing rapidly in North India. In February itself, people have started feeling the scorching heat. Many people believe that now winter is completely gone but this is not true. Actually a western disturbance is passing through the western Himalayas. While another fresh Western Disturbance can reach the hills of Western Himalayas around 26 February. Due to the arrival of these two western disturbances, the weather has suddenly increased in heat.

According to private weather agency Skymet, during the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature was 5 degrees or more than normal at most places in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat region. Apart from the hills of Western Himalayas, the maximum temperature was 5 degrees or above normal at some places of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and West Madhya Pradesh. The minimum temperature at these places was also recorded at 5 degrees or above normal.

Due to this weather effect, light rain occurred over East Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and North Coast of Andhra Pradesh. If we talk about the effects of the weather during the next 24 hours, moderate rain is possible at some places with light rain and snowfall over the hills of Western Himalayas and Arunachal Pradesh. Rain and snowfall may continue in Arunachal Pradesh for the next 3 to 4 days. However, the weather will start clearing up over the hills of the Western Himalayas.

According to the Weather Update, light rain may occur in Meghalaya, Assam, Nagaland and Sikkim in the next 3-4 days. While the day and night temperatures on the hills of the Western Himalayas will be much above normal. Day temperatures will be above normal over most parts of northwest and central India. Talking about North India, there may be a slight drop in the temperature of this region between 22 to 24 February.
