IMD forecast predicts light rain may occur in South Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and North Maharashtra on March 6 and 7

According to the Meteorological Department Gujarat, South Madhya Pradesh, North Maharashtra may experience light rain on March 6 and 7. New Delhi: The weather on Holi will be mixed between seasonal ups and downs. Mild heat will remain at many places including the capital Delhi, but heavy rain and hail are likely in West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, East Rajasthan and Madhya Maharashtra.

According to an official of the Meteorological Department, the Western Disturbance will remain partially active till Holi. Hence the weather is likely to be slightly variable. There is not likely to be any major change in maximum and minimum temperature during four-five days.

According to the Meteorological Department Gujarat, South Madhya Pradesh, North Maharashtra may experience light rain on March 6 and 7. At the same time, there may be sprinkles in East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh today. Vidarbha region of Maharashtra has also been forecasted for thunderstorm and rain till this Tuesday. While the possibility of rain has been predicted in East Central Madhya Pradesh today.

According to Meteorologists an area of ​​cyclonic winds has formed in North Gujarat and its surrounding areas. Now this area has shifted towards south-west Rajasthan. Due to this also, there is a possibility of sprinkling of rain along with thunder in many areas. According to the Meteorological Department, this unseasonal rain can cause damage to rabi crops. Therefore, farmers have been asked to remain alert.

According to the private weather agency Skymet moderate rain may occur at one or two places in the Western Himalayan region. There may also be snowfall in the higher mountain areas. There is a possibility of snowfall in some parts of Sikkim. There may be light rain in many areas of Tamil Nadu. Light rain may occur in some areas of Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, West Madhya Pradesh and also in some areas. It will be partly cloudy in Delhi-NCR but there is less chance of rain.

The Meteorological Department has forecast that the sky will be mainly clear on Monday. The maximum and minimum temperature is expected to be 31 and 16 degree Celsius respectively. During the next one week, the day temperature will be 32 to 33 degrees, while the minimum can be 14 to 16 degrees.
