New Delhi: The Meteorological Department estimates that it will be cloudy on Tuesday. Light rain may occur at some places with strong wind. On Monday, in most areas of Delhi, strong sunlight had blossomed since morning. As the day progressed, the sun also got hotter and hotter.

The maximum temperature in many areas of Delhi crossed 43 degree Celsius on Monday amid the ever-increasing heat. In such a situation, due to the strong sunlight throughout the day, people had to face the scorching heat.

In the afternoon, people felt the scorching heat at Khasmaur. Delhi’s maximum temperature was recorded at 41.3 degrees Celsius, which is two notches above normal. The minimum temperature was 25.2 degree Celsius, which is normal for this time. The humidity level in the air ranged from 50 to 27 per cent.

People of Najafgarh area of ​​Delhi had to face maximum heat. The maximum temperature here was recorded at 43.9 degree Celsius.

During the next three-four days, people do not see much relief from the heat. Maximum temperatures will remain in the upper 40s. At the same time, due to strong winds, a decline in the pollution level has been recorded.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi’s air quality index stood at 162 on Monday. This level of wind is kept in the moderate category. It was 259 on Sunday. That is, it has improved by 97 points within 24 hours. During the next two to three days, the air index level will remain around this.
