IMD forecast predicts light to moderate rain alert in these states for next 3 days, snowfall in hilly areas

According to the report of Skymet Weather Agency, during the next 2 to 3 days, the minimum temperature may increase gradually in North West and Central India. According to the report of the Meteorological Department, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim may receive light rain for three days from February 20 to 22.

New Delhi: A fresh Western Disturbance will reach the Western Himalayas by the night of 18 February. On the one hand, the process of snowfall and rain continues in the hilly areas, while on the other hand, the temperature is increasing rapidly in the plains.

The maximum temperature is likely to be between 37 and 39 degrees Celsius in many parts of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa and Coastal Karnataka today. According to the report of Skymet Weather Agency, during the next 2 to 3 days, the minimum temperature may increase gradually in North West and Central India.

Apart from this, there may be one or two moderate rains in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands today. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall in the upper reaches of Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, Jammu-Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh Snowfall.

Apart from this, there may be light rain in the north coast of Odisha and adjoining parts of Gangetic West Bengal. On the other hand, talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature in parts of Himachal Pradesh and western Rajasthan remained much above normal.

Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Konkan and Goa, Odisha and Gujarat recorded 2 to 3 degrees above normal temperature. Talking about the North East, according to the report of the Meteorological Department, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim may receive light rain for three days from February 20 to 22.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of thunderstorms at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya on 21 and 22 February.

On the other hand, talking about the temperature, the minimum temperature in North West, Central India and Maharashtra can increase by two to three degrees Celsius during the next four to five days.

On the other hand, there is no major change in the minimum temperature in Gujarat for the next three days. However, since then the minimum temperature may fall by two or three degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, moderate to dense fog can be seen on Sunday morning. The partial temperature can remain up to 31 and the minimum temperature can be up to 13 degrees. After this, light fog may remain on 20 February.

At the same time, for the last two days in the capital, people are worried due to pollution. There is a possibility of a slight decrease in it from Sunday. However, its level will remain very poor for the next several days. In such a situation, people are being advised to use masks.
