New Delhi: These days rain continues in many states of the country including the national capital. Until a few days ago, people were worried about the rising temperature. However, many states have seen a drop in temperature due to rain. This rain is likely to continue in the coming days as well. According to the weather department, rain and hail will continue today in North West, East India. There is an alert of heavy rain till March 21 in the Northeast states.
Talking about today’s weather, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, some parts of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Northeast India are likely to experience light to moderate rain. Hailstorm is possible in some parts of Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal. Light rain and snowfall is possible over Western Himalayas. Light to moderate rain is likely in some parts of Tamil Nadu. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for rain in the national capital Delhi on Monday.
Light rain is possible in parts of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan and Delhi. Western Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala will see a significant reduction in rainfall activity. The Meteorological Department has informed that apart from the Western Himalayan region, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan have warned of moderate rain and thunderstorm today. Apart from this, till March 21, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan will receive rain and rain today.
Heavy rain alert has been issued in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura till March 21. Heavy rain may occur in some areas of Bihar today. The weather will start clearing in most parts of eastern India from the evening of March 22. But it may continue in Northeast India. However, by March 23, the intensity of rain will reduce in the northeastern parts of the country.
