New Delhi: The Meteorological Department has warned that rain and hailstorms are likely to occur over Rajasthan and large parts of western and central India before Holi. Holi festival will be celebrated across the country on March 7 and 8. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast showers and hailstorms from Saturday to Wednesday due to tropical weather systems.

New Delhi: The Meteorological Department has warned that rain and hailstorms are likely to occur over Rajasthan and large parts of western and central India before Holi. Holi festival will be celebrated across the country on March 7 and 8. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast showers and hailstorms from Saturday to Wednesday due to tropical weather systems.

According to the IMD, isolated rain or snowfall is also likely in the Western Himalayan region on Saturday and Sunday. It said Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Gujarat may experience light to moderate rains from March 5-8.

If we talk about the capital of the country, Delhi, then on Saturday, the maximum temperature of the city was recorded 3 degrees higher than normal i.e. 29.3 degrees Celsius. While the minimum temperature was recorded at 16.3 degrees Celsius. Delhi-NCR is expected to remain partly cloudy today (Weather Update). During this time, the minimum temperature can be 15 and the maximum temperature can be 31 degree Celsius.

According to the private weather agency Skymet, there may be rain in Vidarbha area of ​​Maharashtra in the next 24 hours (Weather Update). While Chhattisgarh and some parts of East Madhya Pradesh are expected to receive rain from March 6. During this time rain and scattered showers may occur in parts of Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, North Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat region, North Konkan and Goa, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
