New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has given good news for many states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Delhi-NCR suffering from heat. The Meteorological Department said on Thursday that heat wave will end in these places from today. This means that people in these states are going to get relief from the heat. People in Delhi-NCR are expected to get relief from the heat throughout the week.

There is an alert of rain in the plains from June 25. Of these, it is going to rain in Uttarakhand from June 22 to 26, Himachal Pradesh from June 24 to 26, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh on June 25 and 26 in some areas.
Talking about Delhi-NCR, according to IMD, from June 22 to 25, the sky will be generally cloudy and there will be light rain and drizzle. At the same time, there will be rain or showers on the next two days, 26 and 27 June. With this, people are expected to get relief from the heat for the whole week. In those days, till June 27, the maximum temperature can be recorded between 36 and 39 degrees.
On Thursday, the maximum temperature is likely to be recorded at 38 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature at 28 degree Celsius. Light to moderate rain is expected in Uttar Pradesh from 23 to 25 June.
The South-West Monsoon has advanced further, giving an update on the South-West Monsoon, the Meteorological Department said that today it has advanced further into Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Bay of Bengal, West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand.
During the next two to three days, the chances of further advance of monsoon in the remaining parts of UP, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar and Jharkhand remain favourable. Heavy rain expected in Bihar on June 22 and 23, West Bengal on June 22 and 25, Odisha on June 22 to 26, Jharkhand on June 22.
