IMD forecast predicts rain or snowfall occur in many hilly areas for next 2 days

Rain and snowfall in these states

Due to the effect of Western Disturbance, rain activity will be seen from Punjab to Himachal Pradesh. According to the weather department, rain can be seen in Punjab from February 28 to March 2. Haryana, Chandigarh may experience rain on 01 and 02 March.

At the same time, heavy rain can be seen in remote areas of Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on March 1. Himachal Pradesh may witness hailstorm on February 28 and March 1. Along with this, light rain may occur in Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, and the southern islands of Andaman and Nicobar.

Weather in other states

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), some areas of Telangana, AP, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh may face scorching heat today and the temperature may go above 35 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, the temperature is likely to be above 35 degrees in some areas of Rajasthan. According to the weather department, the temperature is being recorded around 4-5 degrees Celsius above normal in most of the states.
