IMD forecast predicts rain or snowfall occur in many hilly areas for next 2 days

Rain and snowfall in these states

Due to the effect of Western Disturbance, rain activity will be seen from Punjab to Himachal Pradesh. According to the weather department, rain can be seen in Punjab from February 28 to March 2. Haryana, Chandigarh may experience rain on 01 and 02 March.

At the same time, heavy rain can be seen in remote areas of Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on March 1. Himachal Pradesh may witness hailstorm on February 28 and March 1. Along with this, light rain may occur in Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, and the southern islands of Andaman and Nicobar.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), some areas of Telangana, AP, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh may face scorching heat today and the temperature may go above 35 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, the temperature is likely to be above 35 degrees in some areas of Rajasthan. According to the weather department, the temperature is being recorded around 4-5 degrees Celsius above normal in most of the states.

Weather in Delhi

National capital Delhi (Delhi Weather) is expected to be partly cloudy on Tuesday, but there will be no respite from the heat. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), today (February 28) the maximum temperature is expected to be around 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature around 13 degrees Celsius. Let us know that earlier on Monday, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 32.3 degrees Celsius, seven degrees more than normal. While the minimum temperature was recorded at 14.1 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal. During this time the humidity level was between 94 percent and 28 percent.

Chance of light rain in many districts of Rajasthan

Due to Western Disturbance in Rajasthan, it is expected to remain cloudy and light rain in many areas of the state in the next two days. According to the Meteorological Center in Jaipur, due to the effect of a new Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of cloudy weather and light rain at some places with thunder in Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Bikaner, Churu and surrounding districts of North-Western Rajasthan on February 28 and March 1. Is.

On the other hand, there is a possibility of light rain with thunderstorms in some parts of the Shekhawati region of the state and the weather will remain mainly dry in the coming days in the remaining parts. Meanwhile, the heat is continuously gaining momentum in the state and in the last twenty-four hours, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35.6 degree Celsius in Barmer and 35.2 degree Celsius in Churu. The Meteorological Department says that the maximum temperature in most areas remains above 30 degrees.
