IMD forecast predicts unseasonal rain with hail occur in UP, Jharkhand-Chhattisgarh, heat is expected in these 3 coastal states

New Delhi: A trough in westerly winds is running from Northeast Uttar Pradesh to Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha and Marathwada. Due to this, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in Bihar, Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal on March 11.

New Delhi: A trough in westerly winds is running from Northeast Uttar Pradesh to Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha and Marathwada. Due to this, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in Bihar, Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal on March 11.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of hailstorm at different places in Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal on March 11. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds (speed of 30-40 kmph) and thunder. While a fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayan region from the night of March 12.

According to IMD, due to this there is a possibility of scattered rain with thunder in the western Himalayan region during March 12 to 14. The havoc of rain will continue in Rajasthan and light rain is expected at isolated places along with thunder and lightning in Rajasthan on 13th. Rain is expected over West Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Gujarat states during March 13-14 and East Madhya Pradesh on March 14.

According to the Meteorological Department, in the last 24 hours, there was rain and thundershowers at different places in Chhattisgarh. While thunderstorms were seen at different places in Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.

According to IMD, maximum temperatures are in the range of 37-38 degree Celsius at some places in Saurashtra, Kutch, Coastal Karnataka and in Konkan and Goa. While the maximum temperature is between 35 to 37 degree Celsius at many places in Gujarat, Vidarbha, Kerala, Mahe, West Rajasthan, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and North Interior Karnataka.

Except for the western Himalayan region, the temperature in the rest of the country is between 30 and 35 degree Celsius. On March 11, there is a possibility of heat wave in different areas of Konkan, Goa, Saurashtra and Kutch.
